Great app. Please give me a dark theme. Very bright at night. Please add ability to to drag and drop the order of get and post variables. Ability to delete multiple variables at once. Lastly the ability to customize code syntax highlighting and ill bump to 5 stars easy. PS. Love the new additions.

This continues to be one of the best apps on the app store! It is such a pleasure to use. Additionally, these developers are very responsive! I wrote them recently about a feature that theyd like to see. I got a response saying that it was on their radar. With this release they have added DynamicValueInput types for Dynamic Value extensions. Theres an extension that Im going to write as a result of this feature. Well done! Their new documentation is beautiful. Although, I would like to see more examples on how to use each of the DynamicValueInput types. What I love most about paw is that I can have multiple different "environments" and set them up separately. I work for a large chain hotel with many different hotel brands that support multiple languages. I use it to test different languages, select different users, test different environments, and brands. Each one can be configured separately, so I can select to use Language X, with Brand C, on Environment J and my urls and headers are setup correctly. Im trying to get the Mac users on my team to use Paw. If lucky marmot ever creates a Windows client, that would be amazing for all the Windows users that I know.

I’ve been using Postman for quite some time, but this application is, hands down, already far better and continues to improve. Also, the developers are very responsive to feature requests. Keep up the great work!!

This app is excellent for testing REST APIs - both those I am consuming and those I am writing. I had been using Cocoa before because it was free, but did some Googling and heard about this one. It is well worth the $50. Specifying Authentication is easy to do and the UI is better (Cocoa has some weird bugs when editing headers) and more comprehensive. One feature that’s really nice (although it took me a minute to realize what was going on) is that it has an option to automatically store and resend cookies. But the killer feature in my opinion (compared to Cocoa) is being able to create multiple REST calls and save them off in a single “.paw" file. This allows me to create a test harness that I can check in to source control with the rest of my project. Two thumbs up.

Seriously, screw sliced bread. Paw is #$%&ing amazing. If you’re wading through the ocean of HTTP clients trying to find one that does everything you want, just stop now. You’ve found it. If you think the price is steep for a one-trick-pony, you aren’t tracking the number of hours you have spent writing shell scripts full of cURL calls and then stabbing yourself in the eyes to try and forget the pain of parsing through the responses to get the values you need. It is a shining example of getting what you pay for. Worth every penny. Pros: - Decent interface: It’s clean, readable, and reasonably consistent with OS X UI conventions. - Well maintained: The developer is actively updating and adding new features, fixing or revamping old ones. - Does everything: It takes the capabilities of just about every other REST client I’ve tried and combines them into a single shiny package. - Extensible: With the latest update you can now write custom extensions to augment a couple of specific areas of the application. Cons: - Price: It’s not terribly high, but I admit I had to pause to think through whether it was justified. I concluded with a resounding YES, but I did have to think about it first. So just get it. Seriously, do it. Now.

Great REST client. Nuff said.

I’ve used a handful of HTTP clients to test APIs before implimenting them in an app and Paw is by far the best of the best. When a coworker was complaining about the app he was using, I recomended Paw to him. Within a few weeks the whole team had adopted it. It has especially made comunication between the API and app developers much smoother because we can share a Paw document to show exactly how we are calling an endpoint and the results we are getting back.
